Our Exeter Head Office
The Exeter office was established in 2003 and works throughout the South West with a range of clients including home owners, architects, developers and local authorities.
Our small team of ecologist are highly experienced, working on a range of projects from small scale projects such as barn conversions, extensions and repair/maintenance of public and historic buildings; through to larger housing developments and infrastructure projects. We are solution based and aim to move projects forward, whilst ensuring that due consideration is given to wildlife and the associated legislation.
We specialise in protected species and members of our team hold survey licences for bats, dormice and great crested newts. We also undertake surveys and design/implement mitigation measures for other protected species including badgers, reptiles, cirl buntings and others. Our Principal Ecologist is a Registered Consultant under the Bat Low Impact Class Licence, and we are highly experienced in applying for European Protected Species Licences from Natural England. We are also experienced in undertaking Preliminary Ecological Appraisals/Phase 1 Habitat Surveys, producing Biodiversity Mitigation and Enhancement Strategies/ Management Plans and working as an Ecological Clerk of Works.
We undertake surveys for a wide range of protected species, but specialise in bats, dormice and reptiles.
